I learned from this firm that different cultures may have some trouble communicating with one another, and at times, may get the wrong idea of what someone says. Or they might say it in a way that may seem rude, but to them its not. I thought it was a cheesy film, but it showed a lot of good examples of the way cultures communicate these days.
The film was informitive and I guess produced for an educational setting. The points were valid, even if the production value was a bit low and, as seems to be the case with films of this kind, the situations, for the most part, seem rather "cheesy".
i found this film to be unintentionally entertaining. one must understand that there are differences in behavior and mannerisms in other cultures. i feel that the people of america nowadays are more sensitive towards this. understanding is the key to communication no matter what culture a person may be from. i loled at the acting, but the movie got its point across. 4/10
Communicating between cultures was a very informative film. It show how stereo types can get us in trouble. I should go up and beyond to ensure that I be careful to rid myself of stereotypes, because It causes problems in communicating with others.
It was a basic film that showed many different situations we all could face with people who are "different" whether or not they are a different race, ethnicity, culture, or religion. As always, don't judge a book by it's cover!
America is one of the most diverse nations in the world. Acceptance of diversity is the acknowledgement of everyone's rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. Everyone should be treated and respected as equal, no matter what culture they may seem to come from.
The video did a good job if showing how different cultures communicate and how different culture communication mannerisms can confuse someone who is not familiar with that culture.
I learned from this film that many cultures are different and the simplest thing as a wrong gesture or a mispronunciation of a word could mean alot to someone else. But what it showed in the film is so true to how others are treated this day of age.
i thought that this film was help full because i didnt realize or understand why some cultures like the asians are usually quiet i just thought it was because they just didnt have anything more to say. this film did help me understand how to talk to people from differnet cultures and not to judge them before i get to know them because they might have cultural differences from me
I thought the movie was very funny, the imitating of foreign accents by americans never gets old. The best part was the guy who was suppose to be from africa, his fake accent was so horrible, dont know how anyone with half a brain could be duped into thinking that guy was african, and the asian people werent even talking, they were just standing there looking at each other with their mouths barely moving. Oh yea, good movie btw
Basicly what I learned is never look at some one and judge them. You should always talk and learn about some one before making any comments. You should always have an open mind to new cultures and ideas. Everyone has there own ideas, opinions, and backgrounds so don't think everyone thinks like you. The film was a little on the corny side but did relay an important and valuable message.
