The other day I was dreading going to work. The other sales associate was one that I didn't like working with. He would leave the store right before it got busy and when I needed his assistance, he was not there. So I was not happy about having to work with him on a tuesday night (lotto night) when the store would be really busy. Luckly when I got to the store, I found that the sales associate that was working in his place was one I enjoy working with. The night went alot better and I had a good night

Saturday night I had to go to church and wanted to find something nice to wear. I went to dressbarn and bought this beautiful strapless dress that was on sale. I went home and started to get ready. When I put the dress on I was disappointed to find out that the dress was a little too revealing for church. It was very low cut. I debated whether or not I should return the dress or keep it for a night out on the town. I eventually decided to keep it and ended up wearing it to church afterall. I modifed the dress by wearing a quater length button up sweater and it all worked out great!

Well, for starters I had perceived driving stick shift very very confusing. When watching my father, I had become frustrated and couldn't help but keep wondering how its done. I would just keep thinking how I would never be able to learn how to drive a stick shift; until i practiced, sucked up the tears of worrying if i just messed up the whole transition. My car is a 2001 Spyder and guess what? Its stick. I'm so happy that I can say that I have accomplished this goal.

This weekend I was dreading my monday/wednesday class, Code Design and Debugging. I thought the teacher was just going to throw code at me and I was expected to find all the errors. I was not looking forward to that. But when I got there yesterday, the teacher seemed really cool and the class was nothing like I expected. It was refreshing and a relief to not have a class that I would hate going to day after day.

In 2006 I was deployed to Iraq. My perception of a young soldier going to Iraq was intense. I felt afraid and I believed that fear would last the whole tour. It's amazing how humans have the power to adjust to any situation. After a few short weeks, We were having cookouts while waiting on a all clear from a recent motor attack. The jets that rocked our rooms everytime they flew by turned into the sounds of crickets at night. The fear lasted two point five seconds and went away how the wind blows. It's hard to imagine but many things are in deed very different then they appear and each personal experience is different then you may have thought it would be.

In today's American society, you can kind of see this trend of over-hyping products such as video games, movies, and points of interests that are going to release. When I first went to go visit my brother in Florida, I was expecting some excitement in Disney and Universal, but I must say that it's not as great as it was portrayed or what people have been saying. I did have a good time, but I was a little disappointed.

A couple of weeks ago, I was going to a concert with my girlfriend and her family. I was kind of nervous because it was one of the first times I had to socialize with her mom, dad, and 2 older brothers. But, it turned out to be a great time and I really enjoyed it. I can't wait to hang out with them again.
